This map shows us where people diagnosed with Factor IX deficiency, also known as Hemophilia B, are living around the globe.
The data come from a WFH survey of national hemophilia organizations. The relative frequencies of Hemophilia B are shown by the size of the circle within each country.
Many developing nations don’t have the infrastructure in place to report on hemophilia statistics. This is why much of the world appears to not have any hemophilia cases.
